The following is a list of locations of AEDs (automated external defibrillators) on the Georgetown campus. An AED is a portable device that can be used to deliver an electric shock to the heart of someone experiencing Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in order to save that person's life. Members of GERMS and DPS officers are trained to use these devices; GERMS also maintains a portable unit in each of its ambulances.
